We bought an older 302 SR1 right after the boat show(post9). It was stored for 15 years by an ex Formula dealer. It was only titled three years ago. We love it, but I still can't get that 292 out of my mind.

What kind of speed are you getting with that set up?

i decided to stop at 86on gps of course not by fear but by cost out of prop. at 5200 rpm's. Decided that was fast enough so should not get the props lab-ed to 32p. None of my group can keep up for now, when they can i think it has a good 6 or 7 mph left in it. 86mp full of fuel and 8 people on the boat.

how are those kaama drives treating you.

Damn, that's hauling azz in that big boat! Are your engines N/A? What size props are you turning? Speaking of full of fuel, I imagine it likes quite a bit of it.:)

I love the Kamma drives. That's the main reason I bought it. It's a real head turner.:)

n/a no way s3 intercooled and fuel injected. 30pitch four blade. Fuel not enough to go very far only 240 gallons.

Reason i asked about the kaamas is that i owned a boat with PSI drives and loved the suface drive but could not find any one up here in the mid west that would work on it because it was something diffrent and i do not have time to work on it myself.

I changed the boot on one of the drives, and it was straight forward. Another oso member sent me all the manuals for the kaama drives. I hear that all the parts are available except the housings. Did you see that 402 on my other post? It has Kaamas.

Sweet boat Bill, what speeds are you getting?

I imagine a picture in front of a gas station will be a pretty common picture!:D If you're lucky you will! Like I say, gas is the cheapes thing I ever buy for the boat. Good luck with her.
