What's not working? It could be a bad ground like you said. Check for voltage at the item not working , but used a KNOWN good ground , such as the block or battery post. I 've never had a problem with any of mine but that doesn't mean you couldn't have a bad one:(

I just recently cured a problem with my port drive trim motor. All of of sudden it quit working while I was out running. I started with voltage at the trim motor, none. Then to the push button breaker (fuse) under the seat, I had power in and power out of the breaker I even checked the operation of the breaker and all worked fine.

What I found was that Formula had spliced the power wire to the motor in the plastic wire loom and the splice had come apart :hothead: Sorry I dont believe any wire should be spliced in the loom especially one as important as that.

Good Luck

i had to replace 2 push button breakers in my 311.
you can check them with a dc volt meter.
i tried several marine supply houses in the baton rouge - new orleans area - no one had them in stock or could even try to order them for me.
i finally found some at an industrial electronic supply.
if you can't find them i'll get you a phone number for the supplier in baton rouge. i think i remember them being fairly "pricey" $25-30 ea. if they can't ship them to you i'll see about picking them up and getting them in the mail (hopefully you'll find them locally). let me know if i can help.

If you find that it is the push button breaker, Boat U.S. has them in stock. If you don't have a store nearby, you can probably order online from their web site.

If yours are like mine they're push-pull circuit breakers.
You pull to disconnect and push to reset. They are aircraft type breakers.

They're made by E-T-A Circuit Breakers They're only available from electronic componnent distributors.
You'll have to pull the bad one out and get the part number off the side of the breaker, go to their website and find a distributor in your area. Price ranges around $25.00+ each.
