engine hatch hinges need help!
 

I have a 2000 271 and the engine hatch bolts keep breaking, replaced both of the pivot screws at least 5 times, now the actual bolt that goes from the top (under the pad) broke. does anyone know how do i get to this bolt ? Or should I just try to take it back to the dealer for warranty? Any help would be appreciated!

do what I did, remove the cushey white vinyl and foam along with the 100 screws to hold the wood backing to the glass hatch cover, really sucked.
Mine is a 97 maybe your boat has no wood in it

Hauling Ass-A, if your still on warranty, hell let the dealer hassle with it. You paid good money might as well get good parts. If you end up doing it yourself get the best quality fasteners you can buy. If you end up having to do it yourself, you don't want to have to do it twice. Formula Outlaw
