Bowtie,
F206 is a great boat to start out with. Good speed, good looks, nice ride for a 20 footer. Good quality boat, you won't loose your shirt when you get "2 footitis"!!:D

Too bad about the bottom paint but maybe you're going to moor it somewhere. I never leave mine in the water so I really don't like bottom paint. But, hey, not that big of a deal.

How many hours on it? Hows the vinyl and drive? Pretty good shape?

Congrats on your new toy Bowtie, have fun!!!

Very nice!
You can't go wrong with a 206 for a first boat.

Where will you be boating?
I see it's registered in N.Y.. Do you live there too?
Will you be out on the Sound with it? The reason I ask is that I know when the the lakes here in Central Florida whip up we can get 2-3'+ waves and that's when it gets interesting. The ride will be rough. It doesn't bother me but the wife complains. Just watch the water.

Did you get the original owners manual (a grey notebook) with it?
How about the factory pillows for the cuddy?

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Nice boat - congratulations.... I have a 223LS and have ridden in a 206. They ride nicely for a 20 Footer. And if it's got a 350 Mag in is, you can't kill them. Had one in my 211 Liberator and that motor wouldn't die as long as you keep the maniflolds fresh and the oil changed...:)

thanks guys

the boat is great the vinyl is great one small tear not really noticable. the hull has no cracks and the engine is mint. The outdrive has some play nothing major its being fixed next week!!!!
it has original pillows and it has a 350 mag
once again THANKS!!!!
ps....long island sound port jeff area

That's awesome. I'm from CT but go to Port Jeff, Huntington Harbor, the sand pit... etc pretty much every weekend. I you see a blue and black 223ls out there (usually tied up to a Donzi 26zx), come say hello. Name of the boat is "Catch 22" if I ever get around to putting the new vinyl on....

I usually hang out in pirates cove in Port Jeff harbor the big sand wall. I don't know if it is the same thing as the sand pit!!! I will definitly and you do the same

A 206 is the boat that got me started down this road of madness. I saw one running in a stiff chop while I was being beat to death on my fishboat. I love them.
