Formula carpet
 

Having a problem with my carpet on my Formula in the side areas of the cockpit(the area that runs from the cabin back to the engine carpet between the hull and the cockpit). Looks like Formula used some sort of glue to hold the carpet in place. I guess 17years later its starting to go! What should I use to glue this back in place? Is there a special glue or something else that was used? The areas in question are hi-traffic areas. I use them for fenders,lines and the anchors. Stuff that gets used alot.

Bad-Habit

I used indoor/outdoor carpet glue from Home Depot in my 20 Formula.

Like Cuda said, any good contact cement will work well. If its a large area of carpet, get a can or two spray type contact cement. That stuff is great.
