Looks great. How many of you tow your boat and how many of you slip or dry slip yours? I'd love a boat like this but can't imagine towing it every time I wanted to use it. Backing a 36 foot boat into a driveway wouldn't be fun. I imagine leaving it in the water would be great so you can enjoy it whenever you want. I couldn't imagine bottom paint it though... Dry slips take care of the towing part and the bottom painting(ruining) part your boat, but you can't just sit at the dock and chat with others like a wet slip. How can you have your cake and eat it to? Ahhhhhhhh.

I'm lucky and keep mine in a lift at my own dock. I couldn't even "get" to my house with the boat in tow, let alone turn around and back it into my driveway (it would still stick out into the street).

Before we had the house on the water I kept the Donzi in rack storage for a couple years, and on a personal lift at a rental slip for a couple of years. Leaving it in the water was murder, even swimming to clean the hull once a week ... which got old REAL quick.

I tow my 357 every where we go. Its only a pain on the longer tow's. Otherwise I can't imagine having to boat on the same water every time I use my boat. To me that would get old really fast. Now that I have a dually it is not bad towing the boat. Just make sure the trailer has good brakes. Okauchee Lake is 5 min. away, Lake Michigan is 40 miles. Winnebago Lake is 1-1/2 hours north, Mississippi River is 4 hours west. Lots of places to boat.

I agree with Preferredstock, I don't mind trailering the boat at all. Just have a good trailer with good brakes and a decent tow vehicle. I personally prefer a 3/4 or 1 ton 4-wheel drive. Dually's are great, until you go to pull your boat out at low tide and the ramp's wet and slimy. Then you need the 4-wheel drive. However if you boat where you don't have to deal with tide changes, duallys are the way to go. Of course a dually 4-wheel drive is the ultimate, but so is the damn price tag.
