Looking at 99 or 00 353
 

I'm a long time formula lover and currently own a 99 271 with a 502 - it's been a terrific boat. I'm looking to trade up to a 99 or 00 353 with hp500's. I've been looking for quite a while and trying to find that "right deal". Somehow I always end up getting the worst itch in August when the season is winding down!

I'm realizing most, if not all of what is out there has low water pickups and I ended up having merc replace the one that came with my 271 after a sand clog. I know a lot of people have had issues with the low water pickups and I'm really skeptical about them.

Does anyone know if they were standard on 99 and 00 353's with B1's? If so, did they get replaced with the 01 boats and am I better waiting until I can afford an 01?
