BTW, that's not lipstick on the towel... Notice all the freakin' "safety" glass that's on the deck. One thing is for sure, it does cut!!!

Did Audiofn already give his away? He was building a windscreen.

Andy's is the newer style 302 deck, and AudioFN's will not work on it. Mine would, but I'm not ready to part with it yet.

I took my windshield off for the faring project, which got back-burnered for drive train repairs and then boating season (Audio's may look better right now, but I was boating this season:D .

It is actually more pleasent to boat without the windshield, wind-wise, as the windshield directed the air flow right at the drivers head. Even my wife thinks so, and she is kinda fussy about comforts. Without it, you do get hit with a lot of wind, but it is less on the head, and more on the body.

I'm still going to build a faring for my new 302, but it will be a removable unit mechanically attached to the boat, not fiberglassed in like Audio's. While I probably don't want to go into production, I can keep notes if you want to do something similar.

Chart, I would take on of thoes farings in a heart beat. Please keep me in mind. Andy, 1 (519) 344-1275 work, 1 (519) 869-2987 home.Thanx...

Andy when Chart and I were doing my fairning we noted some differences in the hulls. Formula claims them to be the same windows however. This is one of the very reasons that I did my fairing on my boat. My fiance said ya ya so I can not waite to show her this thread. She thought I just did it for looks (and she does not like the look of the new fairing). Anyhow I have my window still and you are welcome to it just call up Formula and ask them if they are the same or not. My bird is a 1979

Glad you are ok.

Jon
