I did the same thing...... if I were to do it again I would NOT have just jumped 2 feet. I would have gone at least to a 36 footer.

I guess are thought is we need just a tiny bit more for long weekends, scared of the twins but twin small blocks should be easier to handle and its quite a bit faster, but wonder how much the ride will differ

For us it was the right move. We were looking at 353's but we do most of our boating on some smaller lakes in Indiana and the extra size posed some issues for storage. (I keep it in my driveway during boating season.) We make one trip to LOTO each year and a couple more to Cumberland so the extra length helps the ride quality. The boat performs very well. Its a bit slow out of the hole but once it gets up on plane its a blast to drive. Great mid-range aceleration and pretty easy on fuel.

yea i live rite past the community docks on the left (on your way out). a Grady white and a century cc on the lift my beat is in Chesapeake at top rack rite now...will be at Lynnhaven in may.. don't keep it at my house much. lifts not big enough.

once it worms up we will all have to get together. next time u go by ill flag ya down.

Bought this 271 end of last summer with 200 hrs on it. Had it out a few times, runs nice. Will have in water pics later.
