Diego and I are doing research to determine how many 272 SR-1's were built with BBC's and Bravo I's. Any thoughts on this are welcome.

Not sure how many with BBC but looks like it's fun to work on!! my 320 Baja sucked to work on engines, I am spoiled now with room to work, I have 3 feet of space in front of engines...

Yeah...it's "Tighter than Dick's Hat Band" for sure...they're 34" on center and with another coat of paint they wouldn't fit:lolhit:

My 320 was 33" on center, I had a real hard time finding exhaust that would fit, only newer one that would was take offs from 496's with the black risers, none other would fit...sucked

A 272 with two BBC is definietly a rare bird! I have a 242 wich I am going to power with one 496...
How fast is she going?

atcually most 272's had bbc, as far as your 242 my 88 242 with. 454/365 ran 59 so u can compare to that, is it a 496 mag??

Interesting...according to Formula...272's weren't offered with BBC's until '87 and afterwards less than 10% of 272 production was delivered with twin BBC's.

A 272 with twin BBC's is indeed a rare 'Bird!!
