Bob Barker from the price is right...

Formula Outlaw 03-15-2004 03:22 PM

Very nice looking ride. Maybe consider replacing/painting the rubrail white and painting the foredeck hatches white.

bobbarker 03-15-2004 05:33 PM

rubrail

Formula Outlaw,
Thank for the complement on my 357. These are
early last year pics. I did replace the rubrail with a
white one, this year I will do the hatches in white.
I documented the boat with the coast guard an dept.
of home land secutity an had a hellava time with the
name BAD-ASS. They said it was profanity, I had to
appeal an they caved in an said ok so now I don't
need to run any numbers on the bow. I'am now
doing the engie room in polished diamond plate I'll
post pics. when done, I want to thank bford1 for posting
the pics. for me.

Rick,
Haven't been on in a while, sorry for the delay.

Yeah, it's factory. Why do you ask? Looks factory, right? Or did you mean someone besides Thirdbird?

"Zilla", that is one really nice looking ride. Will make it to Clearwater at some point. May 15th I'm putting on a poker run, the Sarasota Offshore Showdown Spring Poker Run based out of the Hyatt. Check my thread in the Poker Runs, Rallys, and OSo Gatherings forum. That would be a really nice time for you. Quite a few OSOer's are coming as well as OPBA'ers. Russ

Cruel, just plain cruel. However, I'll bet my trailer lights are brighter than yours.......

Besides, I couldn't think of better company to keep than Fred and Jon.

Actually, you ain't half bad yourself, and the company you keep as well.......

cuda 03-18-2004 07:51 PM

Hell man, it's been 78 days since you were on the water! In that time I have fixed my boat three times and still got out!:D

Formula Outlaw 03-18-2004 09:20 PM

All I can do is hang my head in shame and admit you are right. HOWEVER, things are looking up. I've gotten Outlaw back in shape, work has progressed on the house, wife has allowed me back to the main floor of the doghouse (from the dungeon), and is actually looking forward to getting back out on the water.

I have spent a lot of time working on the house, felt it was only fair to Deb. But it's time to rock and roll.

See you next Thursday at the OPBA meeting at Undertow. (think that's where it is)...

I'll have registration forms with me for the SOS poker run. Am getting a hell of a response for this. Gonna be a friggin blast......

Fair, schmare! All you can do with a house is live in it! And you could do that before you worked on it! :)

We'll be at the meeting, and I think you are right about Undertow.:)

Basically my thoughts, HOWEVER I still have to live with my sweet little wife. And her house to her is the same as our boats are to us. When she saw so much money go into Outlaw over the past seven months, and hardly anything being done to the house, she became, shall we say, a bit "unsettled". She did help in acquiring Outlaw in the first place, we used a CC she owned as a partial trade, so to not take her wishes to heart would be not only unfair but very selfish on my part. I want her to enjoy the boat as well, we all have to do what we have to do.

Besides, in my "cyber boating world" Outlaw does 110 mph. LOL

Are you planning on doing my poker run in May?

Poorsche,
Nice, I like the graphics. Is that radar I see on that bird, you must do a lot of traveling, what are you running for power What year?

Poorsche 03-27-2004 06:50 PM

Thanks for the feedback--this is first post.

Really I'm just and electronics nut--love antenna's--altho they are all hooked to corresponding display.

Repowered last year with Marine Power EFI 454's--now need to replace the TRS drives--got a pair of Arneson'e I'd like to lash up but can't get any real info about the project.
