No, it's not you, they all just have a classic look, the new or old, I love them all.

This before Stokes finished my lift behind our house, we had in a hi-rise for two months, I hated it being in there.

Thinking about warmer days ahead. Last picture I had before getting shrink wrapped for the winter.... I'm so jealous of my friends in Florida today! 25 degrees and still two feet of snow laying around here in the Northeast.

FORMULA_272_SR1 - Where in PA are you? Where do you boat?

I'm right outside of Philly but boat out of NJ.

Had mine in a hi-dry for 3 years. Definately made it a lot easier, loved the fact it was stored in doors out of the elements. The soot from the forklift had me constantly washing it, everytime before I headed out. I keep it on the trailer now. Full cover was the best purchase I think I made. Now it looks freshly washed whenever I pull the cover off.

I'm north of Philly, in the lehigh valley. PA/NJ border.....normally either at lake wallenpaupack or the Hudson River/ Long Island sound.

Dukedonzi 03-21-2014 02:58 PM

I will never have another aluminum I beam trailer either, I had one under my Scarab and It scratched the crap out of my bow, it floated, and you couldn't load it straight no matter how hard you tried... I did the same thing as you when I bought my Donzi got rid of that POS put a good Loadmaster under it. I think if someone spends the money on a "real" aluminum trailer they are just fine. I have walked away from boat deals because some cheap b@stard put one of those I beams under it, and yet they want top dollar like it has a real trailer...

Can you tell I don't like them either ...

OTF- I'm currently looking at a Formula 310 & want a good quality trailer for it that will also hold up to salt. IMO most Non-High Performance boat dealers offer adjustable one brand fits most boats this size etc trailers. I know Myco & Heritage both offer quality custom fit trailers & I was recently turned onto Performance Trailers who also seem to build a nice trailer.

Are you saying the trailer pictured is an Eagle brand trailer (I ask only b/c I didn't see any branding in the pics)
Is it custom built to fit your Formula hull?
Torsion Axles?
Elec over Hydraulic Brakes & if so on 2 or 3 axles?

If your talking Performance boat trailers of Lake George N.Y. they are top notch for sure! had one built for my 271 a few years back and could not have been happier, If I could swing a new trailer on my 303 I'd ditch the Myco it sits on for sure, Make sure you talk to Bill and tell him Sam sent ya,
