242s with twins
In a related thread we were talking about Janne's newly acquired 1988 242 SR1 (242 W/350s). Janne has one of the last of four that were ever built.
Then I got to thinking,,,,,,,,,hmmm, did any other builders ever jam two small blocks into a 24 footer...... anyone out there know? I know a few came close, FourWinns with 26 Liberator, twin fat blocks. Maybe Magnum back in the day, not sure though. Don't think Cig. did. Actually, I think the early Formula 233s had twins,,,,,,smaller yet!!!!!! This could be interesting,,,,,Formula may have built the smallest boat with twin small blocks. |
Baja 240, maybe?

Four Winns did have twin 260's available in their 24' Liberator in the mid-late 80's.

Were (2)24 Liberators here with twin small blocks, both '86 to '87 vintage.

Some guy owned him money for a job performed and offered him a 24 Liberator with t/350s. He never had a boat but figured "what the hell". After he tried it out he was hooked:crazy: It caught my eye because I had a 21' Lib. at the time. |

My first Formula, "Synergy", had twin small blocks. Had a lot of "Summer Fun" on that boat.
