That is speedometer speed. GPS would be a couple of mph slower. My labbed prop is a 28p Bravo 1 labbed by Houston Propeller. My stock is a 26p Bravo 1. Both props are running 5000 rpm. The 500HP will run around 70 on GPS so 72-73 on the speedo.

Im getting 76 out of mine with a 28 bravo at 5000. My 26 bounces off the rev limiter at 73 and 5400. So if I get the 28 labbed it will spin all the way up to where the 26 is.

Toolman - Why can't you ski behind your 303 as well as a 271? We've skied behind our old 272 (almost the exact same size as your newer 303) for a long time now. Would the 271 really be that much easier to ski behind? Neither boat is built for skiing.

Your right, neither is great for skiing. I bought my 303 3 years ago before my daughter was born. Now I think a v-drive ski boat with alot of cockpit space is what we need.

Will get another performance boat someday though.
