Actually I did buy another prop, a 22 pitch Bravo 1. You're right about the rpms, 5300 was too much, book says 4600-5000max rpm. I tried a 23 pitch mirage+ and couldn't turn it more than 4300 and took forever to plane. Apparently the 23 pitch mirage non + is no longer available. Anyway with the 22 Bravo the boat tops out at 55mph 4600 or so with 3/4 to full tank of gas and 2 people in the boat. The bravo prop provides a better ride and hole shot than the mirage 21 pitch 3 blade.

Rather than mess around with props or engine swaps/mods I want to go bigger.
