nevermind ..I think ....intergrated swim platform ...newer hull design ....?

dockrocker 03-08-2004 10:41 AM

About 3 ft, LOA, I beleive - the 311 is much larger boat.

303 is 30'3" including integral/molded-in swim platform. The 311 is 31'1" to transom without any type of platform. Once you add a bolt-on platform, or the common bolt-on silent thunder platform, the 311 grows to almost 33' OAL. So as dockrocker stated, about a 3' difference. Actually the 303 is also smaller than the old 292's as well, for same reason as 311.

What they said. 303 is about the same size (a little bigger maybe) than an old 272.

311 is a LOT more boat.......It will handle much rougher seas. Personally, I don't think there is any comparison.

311 is listed as 33' 6" LOA. Though I don't mention that to my marina! 31' for them works just fine...

Until your marina starts measuring boat lengths like one here did. Boy were those cruiser owners PO'd when their 38 measured 44 with the pulpit and add on swim platform.
