Re: How about a Formula get-together in MD?
Hey, Mercruzer - How's that beast coming? I've got my 600's all sorted out. We're sporting Stellings headers now. Still have that DPX package available if you change your mind....
If you haven't signed up for the "formal" Formula rendezvous/trip yet, or don't plan on doing so, we can always set up an informal raftup in Fairlee Creek's cove across from Jellyfish Joels. |

CSPRAY
Just got our confirmation from Full Tilt. Look forward to seeing you again. We met you with Craig and Nancy at the OSO get together in Miami. I won't be running too hard since the 382 is still in the break-in period. Bill |
Re: How about a Formula get-together in MD?
Bill,
We'll be finishing up a 15-day, 600-mile trip that day, so I doubt that we'll be feeling too sporty ourselves. A nice easy run with the "cruiser gang" might be just the ticket. (On the other hand, a quick "burst" into Fairlee Creek might be kind of fun... ) The Formula Pace Boat might be there - I understand that they will have it at the NYC Poker Run, and it's got some sort of "development" power in it. What power do you have in your 382? |

Hey Chuck might be coming to this event but not to sure. I will keep in touch.

Re: How about a Formula get-together in MD?
C_Spray,
She's got 525s with XRs. Full Tilt still owes me a prop change out since it turns 4900 with Lab 31s. I think lab 30's will be on the money. Once we get that figured out, we'll start working on a pair Maximus P5s...maybe 27 pitch. Hope to see you there. Bill |
Re: How about a Formula get-together in MD?
OK, folks - it's coming down to the wire, but they are still taking late registrations. Call DeeAnne Antolik at Full Tilt Marine - (703) 492-2232 x 13. It's cheap and it's fun. Since us "go-fast" types are likely to arrive a bit sooner than the cruiser crowd, maybe a brief raft-up in the cove isn't out of the question. (The fleet is scheduled to leave RedEyes at 2:00 PM.)
See you there. |
Re: How about a Formula get-together in MD?
Dave (Toolman),
Hope you and the family have a great week on the bay. Sounds like the house you rented is a nice deal. It was good to see you all again. Great also to meet lots of happy Formula owners at what turned out to be the largest Formula Rendezvous ever. Thank you, Formula, Full Tilt Marine, and all the other workers and sponsors who made this work out so well. We had a ball. Wiley, Chris, Tim, Rob, and all the others - it was great to meet you and your Admirals. Four (or five?) of us also wound up over at a BoaterEd raftup on the Sassafras River Sunday. They had arranged for the Coast Guard Auxilary to come out and provide free Vessel Safety Checks, so we're all sporting VSC decals on the widnshields now. Hopefully, that will reduce the aggravation factor if we ever have to deal with teh Coasties or Police on an "official" basis in the future. Nice weekend! |
