How big is the gas tank on a 242Ls
 

I just fix my gas sending uint on my 1984 242 Ls with twin 350's I am not sure how many gal gas tank it is. is there a tag or stamp on the tank on these or are they all one size? put the boat in the water this weekend it flys!

My first boat, an 85 242 LS also had twin 350's. Loved that boat, the Master of Knowledge, Mr. Cuda is correct, mine also was 110 gallons.

There is a tank specification label on the top, aft portion of the tank. You can see it if you look down in and sort of under the back seat.

242's with twin are a great ride. I loved mine. Fuel tank size will range from 100 gallons on low side to 107-110 on high side depending on year.

I just looked it up on the Formula site. 1984 242 LS tank is 100 gallons.
