Milestone reached
I wanted to post this in our Formula Formum, this is my 3000th post.
Wanted to keep the distance from the Fountain boys. I believe that would be appropriate per Cuda. Also just wanted to say thank you for all the suggestions and advice I have received in all of the Forums, and particularly to my good friend Cuda who keeps a daily account of how long it's been since my boat has been in the water. :drink: :drink: |

Re: Milestone reached
303 days, but who's counting. Russ, it's gotten so that it's easier to subtract the days left in the year than count them up. :drink:

Re: Milestone reached
I've been sanding on the F20 all morning. I'm going to get that thing looking right if it kills me! Earlier today I was just going to do a quick sanding on the stripe I don't like and shoot it again. Now I've decided to go ahead and shoot another coat of primer first to see if I can get some of the waves out of the side. The way it looks now, you have to wave back at it as it goes by. :( :p

Re: Milestone reached
My money is still on you making the '06 New Year's Day run than the '05.
But then again, you can probably pencil my F20 in for the '07 run. :( |
Re: Milestone reached
Once I get done with the paint, I have to design and build a rear seat and engine hatch...............................hmm, if I only knew someone who was a cabinet maker. :)

Re: Milestone reached
Funny I think I know a cabinet maker, and I need some tile done. Hmmm... I think I smell a barter coming up here.
Do you use the "flashlight test" to check to see if a repair is "flat", without any waves?????? I can actually move my arm a little bit today, actually can type with both hands again. Sore as hell but at least I can move it. Have to go back Monday afternoon for more blood work to see if the infection is gone. I have four holes to patch where the bolts went thru the transom holding the silent thunder box in place. What's your thought on the best way to do that???? Thanks. |
