Jet Drives vs Kaama vs Arneson vs TRS
I've got an 87 SR357 that is gonna need new engines and drives of some kind. I used to have a boat that was build for the Secret Service when Nixon was prez that had a Chrysler 440 and a Jacuzzi jetdrive on it for use around his place in Key Biscayne.
Has anybody looked at using jet drives on a boat that size and vs Kaama vs Arneson vs TRS ?? |

How about one more option - Konrad 540's? They will bolt up to your transom assemblies, or if those are gone, they make nice new ones and you won't have to add extra $$ for reworking your transom. I'm guessing that would be your least expensive option at somewhere around $8-9k per drive (not sure exactly what they cost from a dealer who may discount the price a bit), and supposedly they are tough as nails. If you are repowering, you could bolt up some decent power,as the drive is rated for 738 ft. lbs torque, though the word is they can handle much more.

If I was starting from scratch, I'd go with Arnesons.
