Are you sure the neighbors had head it before? With the age median where you live, most of them had probably passed on since the last time that boat made any noise! :D

In my little neighborhood, we are basically "youngsters" here. Most people are about our age. I know of only three houses on our peninsula where the people are over 55. There are only about 34 houses on our little spot.

And I've got the loudest boat. :cool: :cool:

AWSOME!!!! Did you check the riser temps? How were they? I am sure you will be fine but just check them a little every now and then just to be sure. You are close man get her registered tomarrow and then RUN HER!!!!

Thanks, yes it's been a long time coming. A few people helped me get this back up and running, thanks to Too Old, Cuda, Gusman, Tom Roehr, and my wife for putting up with me. Well sometimes she does.

Jon, I ran both motors for 20 minutes or longer. I could place and keep my hand on the manifolds and the risers, couldn't quite do that at the spacers. They were definitely warmer but nothing that concerns me. You can see the spacer nicely in the first picture in post # 3.

Odd thing I noticed, on both motors, more water came out the starboard tip and was hotter than the water coming out of the port tip. Not much difference, but a difference. Just enough to show steam out of both starboard tips, and not hardly any out of the port tips. Guess it must be how the water routes through the motors. That's what Cuda thought too.

The motors really sounded good. I was a little worried about the gas sitting so long, but once those Racorps filled up with gas they fired right off. Idled nice and smooth, just sitting there rumbling. I just stood there and listened, for a moment all was right with the world.
