You could wrap the Donzi engine in your "warm and fuzzy" bunny outfit. :D

I'm going to concentrate on the Donzi first, I want it to be ready for the Mt Dora Antique Show when we go there with the Donzi boys. I AIN'T taking the fishboat this year. They made me park in the weeds. :(
|
Re: Important Message about Cuda
Sorry, no, rain days do not give "extensions". Let me know when the Mt. Dora show is, I'd drive up for that. R

Re: Important Message about Cuda
Here's some info on Mt Dora.
Coming soon, the Mount Dora Antique Boat Show is a do not miss event.. Rooms go quickly, book now if you are even contemplating going, cancel later if you have to. Dates this year are March 17 - 20... Last year we had a great turnout. A bunch of cool Donzi's drew crowds wherever they went. Well, OK, cept Cuda who brought a fishboat with a BIMINI, but anyway, we still had fun.. Heck, Fishboy even ran the entire event, that alone was worth the price of admission The SeaDogs will be there in Force. Dockage available as usual, dock party Saturday nite, and some beautiful running for all. Check out the official Mount Dora website for lodging info... Others here can pipe in and help you choose a hotel also... |

Re: Important Message about Cuda
Jon, you should pull your 18 down here to the Mt Dora get together. You'll love it.

Re: Important Message about Cuda
What Lake does this Mt. Dora Donzi boat event take place on? Can you list the Mt. Dora website. I want to check this out on my Florida Gazeteer.
Do they have noise laws there? I'm noisy now :drink: |
Re: Important Message about Cuda
Russ, it's on the Harris Chain of Lakes. I don't think there are any noise cops, that's the same chain we had the Toys for Tots run, the last time Hell Bent was on the water. :(
Here's some info from the Donzi.net site. Mt Dora |
Re: Important Message about Cuda
You'll be pleased to hear I'm going to take a look at the boat today. I have some paper work to do this morning, then I'll either get Debbie, or my second cousin, Jared who is staying here to give me a hand with the boat.
|
Re: Important Message about Cuda
I guess if I decide the peice of starter is wedged in the flywheel and the engine needs to be pulled, I'll trailer it over to Performance Plus in Clearwater and have Nick do it. I can't find anyone over here I trust. Nick had to do the exact same thing on this boat when Bill owned it, so he is familiar with the process. I guess that high compression engine is hard on starters.
|
Re: Important Message about Cuda
I'm also thinking about just going ahead and send the Donzi to Nick tomorrow when Debbie has to go to St Pete to pick up her son.
|
Re: Important Message about Cuda
Well, because of Russ's contunual nagging, I got out and tried to turn the motor by hand. No go. It won't turn in either direction, I think the starter chunk is hung in the flywheel.
I'm sending the Donzi with Deb tomorrow to PPM and have it fixed. When it's done, I'll send her with the Formula, drop it off, and bring back the Donzi. I just can't find anyone in this area I trust. Nick has done work for me before, and I couldn't ask for better service, and he's familiar with the Formula. |
Re: Important Message about Cuda
Maybe I should just get Nick on a retainer. :(

. Now now it's not nagging, it's just gentle persuasion, you know like what I had to listen to for 379 days. However, in honor of Cuda being Cuda I have decided to credit you one day so the count stands now at 47 rather than 48. :D :drink: :D I think we should start making predictions about what the "Outlaw Count" will end at. Jon, would you be kind enough to be first to "predict"?????? :D :D |
Re: Important Message about Cuda
Now it's 48 :D

Re: Important Message about Cuda
Hmmmm, I smell a "quandry" here. Johno, do we let the Cooderman off the hook by his fishboat being ready, or do we stick to our guns and make it one of the Formulas??????? I'm open to suggestions.
I think we need to stick to the Formulas. What do you think???? |

I think we need to stick to the Formulas. What do you think???? Russ, Are you feeling okay? After Cuda started all this "day 367" story, no way! I just hope he gets Big Yellow running soon before summer is over....plus I wanna blow his swim platform off when I pass him in a fishboat  Cuda, I await your comment or comments! |

Okay, I agree, it's gotta be "Big Yellow". I just feel that maybe he's feeling too much pressure, you know, both Formulas down, the V-Rod had to go back to the shop just after he got it home, he's still nervous about his Harley, probably still can't get his nose out of all the naughty pix he took of Deb, and of course there's always the threat of "snake" on his mind, not to mention work and upcoming bike week. I mean the man is close to being "maxed out". :D :D Plus we've had these cold snaps and we all know how that upsets the delicate equilibriaum of the "Cuda"....:D :D |
