Hi,

Does anyone have a copy of the factory wiring diagram for the 242?

I could sure use a copy at the moment. :(

Should be one in the owners manual. If you don't have that, call TAG at Formula and they can fax or e-mail it to you.

I've got SR357 wiring and plumbing schematics scanned in and could email them if that would help. I would guess that Formula would use very similar overrall scheme on all model wiring.

Would be similar regarding colors and routing but, twins vs. single engine would certainly confuse things.

I'll get those emailed when I can get on my server--got company staying ins officr guest room over night.

The singel vs twin isn't really too problematic--the wiring for 2cd engine is just dupicate of engine 1--everything else is pretty standard and would be same as single engine especially the way Formula wired the circuit breaker panels and the accessory fuse panel.

I found my binder with all the papers from my 242. The only wiring diagram is mercruiser specific.

Let me see if they will load.

I know I have some stuff for my 302 here somewhere too. I know it had wiring in it, because I remember looking up something before.

I tried to post the images of Formula Wiring Diagrams but files were to large--no matter what I tried. I've mailed them directly to a few folks that requested them but even some of those emails were sent back bacuase email host didn't like message size with attachments.

I'll email directly to anyone that needs them or if anyone has a better idea on how to post them let me know--the smallest I get files down to is about 470KB each and there about 9 files that I got with the boat from factory.
