37PC and 370SS
How different are the hulls?
I rode in the 37PC at the Miami show, and with inboards, and 496 motors, it only got up to 35mph. I/O power should get it to go 8mph faster. I know you can get the 370SS with 525EFIs. That package and Outdrives should get it up to 55mph or so right? Any faster? Thanks. |

The SS essentially has the Fastec stepped bottom, so it should go much faster than the PC. The 400SS can hit low 50's with 502 mags, so the 370SS w/ 525 should get to around 60 mph I'd expect.

When I rode in a 525-powered 400SS, it ran 59.5 with seven adults and half-full tanks. A 370SS should easily exceed 60 at WOT. The question is: How much faster will it's CRUISE speed be over 496HO's. Might not be worth the big coin if you look at it that way...
