Hey everyone. New to posting, but love the site.

My boat 1989 w/ Palm Beach graphics. Stock 454 Mags. only Modifications are Stainless Marine Exhaust and Holley Flame arrestors. Switched the drives to spin "in" and as a result of only the above had to go to new 25P Mirage Plus. Boat now 73MPH on Nordskog GPS Speedo. Oh Yah that was an upgrade too.

Want to hear from other 292 owners of small changes that work.

How many extra mph was that?
Did you change anything else at the same time?

Old VDO showed 69 MPH.........but I think it was optimistic. Most telling was that I went from 4950 RPM with my (old) Mirage 23's (I think original to the boat in '89) to 5300+ with only those mods. Hence the need for the new Mirage plus 25's. Now back to 4950 with a new Nordskog GPS Speedo. Had to go GPS as lost the pilot tube with the nosecone install.

Have to bear in mind that these are original stock 365HP 454 Mags so I wanted them to live.

Would highly recommend the IMCO nosecones, and drives turning in.
