Re: 382 FasTech with 575's or new 600SCi
My 382 with 600's has sea strainers.
But those are Volvo/Innovation engines. And cost $18,000 less (EACH) than the 600's that Mercury puts in there now... :p |
Re: 382 FasTech with 575's or new 600SCi
Chuck....where are they located?

Re: 382 FasTech with 575's or new 600SCi
In the bilge, just in front of the engines, underneath the "access hatches".

Re: 382 FasTech with 575's or new 600SCi
In case anyone would be interested, there is another 38 Formula with those Innovation 600s' that has made the transformation from VolvoDPX to Mercury transom assemblies, Stellings boxes and Bravo XRs. Boat is for sale in the St. Louis area and looks mint.

Re: 382 FasTech with 575's or new 600SCi
I know of two of these that have gone back to Formula to get re-rigged with the Mercury/Bravo XRs on Stellings boxes. Both came out very nice.
