Formula was kind enough to send some production photos of my 600 boat. It will have Lazer graphics,all white interior and sunpad, and Stellings boxes.Here are some photos.

Troutly,be careful what you wish for,after adding for the essentials( Outdrives and misc. charges) we might be there :D Rippem,we can see how it runs when you drive down to pick up Dukenrock's '01 382 :p

Boat finished today,Formula will run it Monday for prop testing since this is the first 353/600 boat. I think Merc Racing will be there too to check things out.Had hoped to get it here Tuesday but the new dash panel for the Smartcraft gauge stuff isn't in yet so there may be a delay on shipping. Will post some speed #'s when I get them. I think this may be the fastest,stock,full 5 year warranty Formula they have built to date. I can't wait :p Robert

Can't waite to see that thing. Interesting that you went with the Stelling boxes over the ITS. Do you feel the same that most seem to that the ITS is not all that it is cracked up to be?

Magicfloat, do you know what kind of strainers those are that were installed in that boat. Just wondered, it looks like the ones with the single knob the tightens the top cover down. I like that part and the fact you can see down through the top as well. Thanks Propwash.

propwash,don't know on the strainers but I will when I get the boat,hopefully next week. Audi,I like the Stellings because they enhance performance,ITS doesn't seem to do much,not much setback,to me just a hitech steering system. Merc says it cleans up the transom,personally I like the looks of the hoses and fittings and polished rams :p Cost is only a couple bucks difference. Stellings should cost more cause lot more labor is involved,but they don't.I think a lot of builders push ITS cause it is so much easier to install,Formula doesn't push,they go with what the customer wants.Nothing wrong with ITS,I just think Stellings are better.Robert

Say, I wish Formula would have tested my 03 382 w/ 575's and ITS before they sent it to my dealer since it was the 1st 382 w/ that engine drive combo before I took delivery and it would not even plane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: Enjoy, Wrink

I hear ya on the first born. I have no "borns" so I would offer "the other half" but that would certainly "kill the deal". :D

I know (smart azz :D )....I went to look at a 311 and they had the 312 I bought sitting beside it. The 311 was just rough and had been bottom painted. I would have been pissed for driving that far if it weren't for the deal I worked out on the 312.

Magicfloat, Structurally did formula have to do anything to the hull to accomadate the big power?? ie reinforce stringers, etc,etc??? Thanks

Cuda, Mine had to go back to the factory because of a previous owner for a broken fuel strap, My rep from formula told me they reinforce the boats that they know are for offshore purposes because of the pounding they take and mine had taken a beating, Broken cabinets in the cabin, fuel strap and bulkhead, Jeff

Robert, Let's see a 382 with some 1075's or some staggered 850's! :D :D

I know, I know, the staggered boat will never happen but maybe an 850SCi equipped 382 with some boxes - Holy S--T! That would definitely be a 100mph condo like they call the Arneson equipped 382 in Cali. :evilb:
