The furthest I would be trailering would be around 25 miles. I just havent decided if I want to trailer it all the time, or rack store it. 31' is probably a bit more hassle than it worth, but some have told me otherwise.
I have surge breaks w/drums, would prefer electric disc, other than that easy tow. any ways duallies don't fit in the garage and the wife would go berserk with smell of diesel in there too. |

Re: Formula 311 Values ?????
As far as a "tow vehicle" goes: Insurance. Be sure to check it. If you are in an accident, the first thing insurance companies are checking is if what you were towing exceeded the factory tow rating of the tow vehicle. If it did, your insurance will be void.
That being said I would think your truck would do fine. My 99' Dodge 4x4, reg. cab/360 towed my boat fine. However the factory tow rating didn't equal the weight of the boat/trailer. I had to upgrade to the "Valdez" that has a tow rating of 12,600lbs just for the insurance issue. |
