Price of new 24 formula
1 Attachment(s)
I was searching boattraderonline.com today to see how much 24 Formulas are going for (asking prices at least).
I happened to see a 24 2005 Formula listed for $71K. Nice boat certainly, but that's a lot of float! http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/1/2/78592212.htm So I'm wondering if the new owner will be having $55K worth of more fun then we have in our classic 242LS? Who buys new boats? |
Re: Price of new 24 formula
He will be having 22 ft of fun comparable to yours and MAN, that's alot of cash!
Are you still looking to upgrade yours? A NEW 24 would be smaller  |

I can't decide if I should get a bigger boat or another toy car. With gas going to $3+ gallon this summer I think buying the car would cost much less and I could use it year round. I have to believe that twin big blocks would devour fuel. Another idea would be to wait until mid-summer. Maybe the high fuel prices will drive resale prices down. Who knows. Tough decision I know. |
Re: Price of new 24 formula
If your shopping in the 24 range, check out my 252BR in the classifieds, you can save 40k, and the boat is VERY clean. It's a '98 but shows like a 2004 model. That is, if you REALLY want to save 40k....

The 2005 24 Formula is the first "24" that they've offered in several years and popped up in the search. At which point I fell over seeing the asking price of the new boats... |
