Older engine hatch hinges
 

I'm relatively new here, and I haven't seen this come up yet. I have '91 27 with a broken upper hinge on the engine hatch. Fountain said the new ones would fit with slight mods, but the wimpy little one they sent isn't even close. What years used the larger hinges, and does anyone make them? I had a local machine shop make one out of stainless, but it was real expensive, and I would like to get an original style. Thanks--

Will look today I think the one you are refering to Is still made It is About 125.00 each (I think My boat has the same) I think one in our showroom Has the same (new Boat) when I ordered a hinge from fountain last I was told the one that I orderd was common and about 38.00 each there is another hinge that is 125.00 that is used in limited applications (Think That Is The one..)
