Cruising Speed ?
 

Does anyone know what the best cruising speed would be for a 94 Fountain with Twin 502 EFI's would be? I've looked all over the place and I can't find it anywhere. The closes thing I can compare it to is a much newer Cig Mystique 30' with twin 496 HO's and it best crusing speed is at 3500 RPM and 50MPH......but then again that boat has a stepped hull.....mine doesn't! I still think it would be comparable but I don't know.

Its usually an rpm as opposed to a speed .......3000 to 3500 for a low speed........4 to 4500 for a high

75% WOT is general cruise speed for best fuel/mileage.
5000rpm x .75.....3750.

I normally run around 4000 if long run like 30-60 miles one way. So what's alittle more fuel anyway.

Yeah that's where I found the stats for the Cig Mystique and that's the closest to what I have as I can see! I'll go with that I guess until I can see acutals from somewhere!

95 32 Fever , twin 502's , 54 mph at 3500 ..
