Triple conversion?
Has any one converted a triple too a staggard setup? Would the factory handle the transom work? I am getting tired of three engines.......Tom

Re: Triple conversion?
Thats funny that you ask that, I was just going to ask that about the 47s. there are some out there without motors. Anyone ever put large staggareds in the place of trips.

Re: Triple conversion?
Yea, no kidding. Two engines are enough of a pain, three is a buzz kill.

Re: Triple conversion?
Let me know what you find out. We were talking about just the same thing last weekend. A couple 1075's would be nice :D :D

Re: Triple conversion?
Parnell converted his 41' saber from a trip to staggered.
Saber did majority of the work. nauti kitty is his board name I've considered the same with mine, told it's do able but being an older boat it's also a lot of boat weight wise. So it would take some power to move it to. Biggest thing is if you plan on keeping the boat long term. cause theres no $$$$ return on the conversion. So if ya love your boat it's worth doing. Otherwise probably more cost effective to find what you would like in a twin/staggered set-up. Cougarman |
