........We are ordering a new Lighting for inventory with custom paint and I was asked for ideas so I thought what better then to ask our customers (you all ) what they would like to see and if any one could come up with a really great theme. also what motors would you like to see... remember this boat needs to be sell able ie...no 1050s :( ( too much money on to the sale price) it will be either a 38 or a 42

an all white 42 with staggered ilmors with stelling boxes and teague polished shortie drives.. I might even want to BUY that one.....BZ


p.s. it has to have a race faring. nobody seems to order the faring on the new lightings..?????

I like color!! The graphics in the pic look good,also I like the
graphics on the 47 on Fountains web sight. I think its called
south beach. You cant beat 525's. Great power,not to pricey.

Good Call On the 525s Our Company has a 42 Poker w/525s Runs great and around 95 mph Low cost speed! :D
as far as paint ...Go to www.signzoo.com they can do a wrap in whatever your mind can dream up and if you get tired of it peel it off and change it!! this boat is done by them.. and on there site

Great idea but we already know all about Signzoo Chucks poker run (the one in your pic) and his fish Were both wrapped in our shop and by the end of the week we will have the equipment to do all the printing and wraps inhouse!!!!!!!!! :evilb:

I belive for a 38 foot boat it will be about $5,000 any design you want pictures or any thing

Reggies new paint designs have improved dramatically and are looking great. A lot of yellow and blues always look good. I really like that new poker run boat that was featured in all the adds (orange and blue), just keep a little more white on the boat than that one. Whatever you do dont draw anything on the boat, i.e. planes, dragons, skeletons. I would also do 600's and a fairing. When I bought my 42' I remember a pair of keith eikert 675's costing 4 grand more than my 575's. If you could put another 200 horse into the boat for cheap money it might be a good selling point. Just some thoughts.

I agree with you bmanafort the biggest problem is if we put bigger then 525s in it the buyer wont be able to get extended warranty's which sometimes can be a big selling issue when it has triples. I agree about not doing a theme boat but if someone comes up with a great idea we will, after all our sales people did sell the Cigarette Stealth....and Yes Reggie has relaxed his feeling on no wild graphics and a lot of his stock designs are very sharp but they are just that stock designs that anyone can order. oh and I forgot mercury is now a partner in Fountain so for the most part it has to have mercury racing

I really like Mitcher T's work. I love the paint on
back4mores 42. Sharp,modern & not to much. I
think all the new 80k paint jobs on Cigs & O.L's
are over the top and will show their age in a
5 or 6 years when the trends change.

When I had my 02 42' built I was the first custom paint out of the factory. I took a page out of the cigarette book, marked it up and sent it to fountain. Than fountain charged me $30,000 and started offering it as an option on all there 04' boats. A rebate sure would be nice.

yes, new boat. My boat :). Will be available in Feb. after the Miami show to anyone who wants a killer deal. Will have maybe 40 hours on it.

aww, come on. I love the marilyn boat. I wouldnt paint it that way but it is a landmark at Texoma. Tripple merc 800's with 6's. Neat boat for 1997.
