Race fairing change...
 

Anybody replaced a race fairing with the new 1/2 windshield? Thinking about it on a 04, 38 Lightning. Looking at winter project and would like to know how difficult to do, expense etc. I know a lot of guys love or hate a race fairing, but just thinking about really changing the look of the boat for next year. Love the 1/2 winshields. Open to comments.

If you call down to Fountain you can buy the windsheild right from them. They build them right there in house.

I just put mine on this winter - same part number from Fountain.

Current 38 Lightnings and 42 Lightnings are interchangeable. The 42 Classic, older 42 Lightning and 42 Executioner are interchangeable with each other but not with the current Lightnings. The fairing and windshield (full ht or 1/2 ht) are curved for the new Lightning and the Executioner windscreen and fairing comes to a point in the middle.
