Red 47 in the classifieds.

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know the red 47 in the classifieds? Ex Reggie Fountain? It's starting to drop within my price range and would like some background info on it.

I would think that the drivetrain alone is worth that.
Nows the time for that baby....Fountain's coming out with the big sit down soon.

Thats the one, apart from a slight windscreen change it look's similar to the new 42 poker run, (well similar-ish). I agree the drivetrain alone is worth the price of admission.

What sort of performance should it have with it's current set-up? And any idea on fuel capacity, I think I saw 6 fuel fillers...

Low Blue,

Whats the story with that one?, would prefer twins and happy if it needs some love and care, would actually prefer it.

Any idea on $$$?

If the one Larry has is the one I thinking of here in Atlanta the motors are 525sc's w/6's

Is that the flat deck that used to be triple then converted to twins? been for sale for a long time? Not exactly what I was after.

Man . . . .
There aren't that many chances to own a piece of history. Together with the drivetrain . . . yikes. . . . you aren't gonna run into to many others like her on your local lake.
You pull up to the local watering hole in THAT boat, you're making an 'entrance', for SURE . . . .

Good luck . . .

James,
The red 47' you are talking about is in excellent condition. The owner is very particular about his stuff. It is a tremendous deal, as others have already stated the drivetrain alone is worth that. With the current setup the boat has seen 110mph. Please give me a call if I can be of any assistance to you. Peter and myself are the listing brokers for the boat.
