Fountain swim ladder
3 Attachment(s)
Here is the new fold up swim ladder I just installed on my 27 Fever. It took all of about an hour to install, it uses the toggle bolt type hardware. Sells for $285.00 + Tax and shipping about 2 weeks. Here is the website [email protected] My wife love this step. Hint Christmas is right around the corner :evilb:
I'll need to take some more pics on a lower resolution I can't shrink them down enough |

Re: Fountain swim ladder
Bought the same ladder this spring only in the white powdercoat, wrong choice, it tends to catch exhaust soot. I was worried about the anchors they supplied but they said up to 300 LB. ..good thing I lost some weight :drink:

Re: Fountain swim ladder
Amen to the 300lbs I had a rather large woman 300+ climb up it and it never fell off I figure she put the test on it

35 White Lightning, thanks for the pictures, that does look pretty clean on there. So, you did use the the hardware they sent with the ladder. Elba told me that the backing nuts are steel verses the outside ones being stainless. Did you coat the steel part with anything before you shoved them through the holes? Thanks also for the tip on the white powered coated one because I was going to go with it until you mentioned the soot..... If you have any pictures on the trailer from the back I'd like to see them.. Thanks again Speed

I bought the same ladder for my 42. Works great, holds my fat azz with no problems. Only problem I have had is the insert anchors are not SS and 1 of them has some rust. I use the boat in salt water. I don't think it will be an issue, but I am keeping my eye on it.

I have a 32' Fountain and am looking for a solution. I'm thinking i would want more steps than these spring steps. I noticed on the aqua performance website, they have a new telescoping ladder but i dont have any idea how i will get back in the area where the anchors need to be mounted on this Fountain??? there is a firewall back behind the motors blocking that area. How did you Fountain guys make this work?

My swim ladder is made into the swim platform. I bought the same ladder Fountain sells at half the price straight from the manufacturer. ggschmitt.com

Can you get some shots from maybe 10ft away and maybe 20-30 ft. Would like to see how this looks farther away. Does it just screw in or bolts.

As much as they boats cost why they didnt build something into the swim deck that hides away is beyond me

Its called the pocket ladder it's coated in white and has two screws on each side, not sure how it would work on the older boats because this ladder fits into the hatch made into the top of the swim platform. Don't have any pics boat is in the shop right now. My friend has a 28' Donzi and his factory ladder is similar but mounts underneath the swim platform but not sure who makes it.

I have a white vinyl coated under platform ladder off a 2001 28' Sonic that would probably work. $150 plus shipping. John 610-299-3598
