Re: Magic tilt trailer
Alum. trailers are not exempt from floating. My buddies does it. His has the long PVC pipe guides that he can catch with the bow and start him on the bunks, which pushes the trailer down. With the air in the triple axle tires, there is not enough trailer weight to keep it from drifting. Might try to back the trailer in and stop right before floating point, then once the boat hits the bunks, back the trailer under the boat if you don't have the up right guides.

Re: Magic tilt trailer
had this experiance with one of my trailers. Sometimes made loading very difficult as trailer floated up along side of boat. Wife did not like launching. I finaly ended up weighting it down, and then all went well.

Re: Magic tilt trailer
just add some pieces of steel to the underside of the bunks and it will weigh it down so it doesnt float good luck :D
