No. . . . but my friggin marina has jacked up the slip, from $400 to $450. . . . did the same thing LAST year - from $350 to $400. . . .

Sh*t, I only live two minutes from a *FREE* launch-ramp, so why spend the money ? . . . or am I rationalizing ? ? ?
The thing is, the marina is no longer allowing boat lifts. I am grandfathered in, as long as I keep it there. They won't make me remove it, they just won't allow anyone 'new' to install one. . .
So, I ask myself - "Do you want the launch/retrieve hassle every time you go out, OR just stick 'er on the lift and drive home ?" . . . is it worth $450/mo. ? . . . once I'm gone ( there is a waiting list ), there's no going back. . . .

Hmmm, grandfathered in. Can it remain in if the new buyer leaves it there? If so, jack that puppy up alot more $$$$.

That's a pretty good increase. Makes my $2400/yr for a covered slip sound great. Course, just recieved a letter the other day that we have to remove our fridges, micro, toasters, anything electrical from the dock. Have to be on the boat and feed thru boats shorepower. Heck, my slip is better stocked than my home! Always kept inside our dock box too, might have too hide the power cord a little better now. :drink: The slip is my home every weekend Mid April - Nov 31. Thur nite -Sun

Nope. I asked the Dockmaster about that . . . when I go, the lift goes with me . . .
At $350/mo I was OK with it, cause it's so close to my house. At $400, my knees buckled slightly. . . . at $450 - no thanks. It pisses me off.

I hate paying the slip fee until I drive by the waiting line at the launch ramp. Our fees got bumped $400.00 this year. You can't win! :(

On Long Island, we pay $3600+/ year and we can only use our boats for 6 mos.. But I would never give up the slip...
Just lower the boat and go , come back flush the motor , wash it and go... It makes using the boat easy.. If you really use the boat often, Don't give up the slip..

Happy Holidays..

Eliminates the electrolysis potental, hull blistering, no yellowing bottom, peice of mind one of your thru hulls, transom seals, bellows.... anything does not fail.

I realize LC is clean water, but here in IN, our water is not that clean. A boat left in for a week will start to show a yellow bottom with growth starting. After a month, it can be a real pain to clean. Feels like a shag carpet.
