Lake Michigans west shore
 

I am looking for info on the mich. shores of lake Michigan. I have done most of my 20 years of boating on the chain of lakes. I bought a 32 with twin 502s this past summer and I feel I am ready to take on the big lake.

I am looking for ideas and locations to take a trip across the big lake with some friends next summer. We will be launching from racine Il and would like spend 4 to 5 days on the trip. we would like to stay in hotels since the wives will be along for the ride.

Any info would be great.....

Welcome and you will like your new ride. You can go to Saugutuck, Grand Haven... Milw to GrHaven is 80mi direct east...I'd be in if weather was good. There is alot boating out of Racine area...Heres a nice swim-hole 1 mile from Racine some OSO folks showed me. Sea ya in spring. Dave

I've done the Grand Haven trip a couple of times, it is nice over there...Hey dave..what about a trip along the coast going up to door county ? I think they'd enjoy that too...we've done that a couple of times to and enjoyed it also. SisterBay has a marina that is only $40 a night for a slip...you can't get a room their for that price !

So does that mean next year your moving up to a 43' ?
