Hey BLUME sorry i didnt get back to you on the 38! i am going to pass right now though i dont want ot get into power like that currently. let you know what i want exactly come the end of the summer for FLA boating this coming winter.

Blume, I agree don't apoligize this thread is about a Fountain forsale, you have a Fountain forsale, No apoligy necessary :drink:

By the way both boats look AWSOME, If I was moving up I would really consider them. sadly if I get a bigger boat I need a bigger boat house :(

35 Lightning with 525's does about 94 MPH ...

35 twin step boats ran around 92 with 575's - at best. I've been in some that were much slower. In the same hulls, 575's run about 2 mph faster than 525's I'd have to see that 94 with 525's to believe it.

The Fountain site estimates the 35 525 twin steps will run 90ish - which seems about right considering they ran 85-87 with 500 efi's.

Marginmn, your right, I have a '04 35 Lightning, 525's and 92 is it on it's best day... 88 with a load all day long.

BTW, it's for sale too. 92 hours w/ Myco for $170K OBO...
