We are looking for the fourth Fountain Ferrara! We have three here in upstate NY. We heard there is a fourth possibly on the West Coast? Does anyone know of any information or contacts. The boat is 40' with Arnesons.

Re: Reggie would be PROUD.. we have three, we need the fourth!
Dennis Ferrara kinda fell out of the engine building picture around 90'ish. There was a 89 12 meter out here in Chicago back in 90 that had a pr. of big powered Ferrara engines in it and it ran a little over 100. The boat was white with blue stripes, and it was called "ME BAD". A black guy by the name of Gene Bell owned it, and many said that he was a major dope dealer here in Chi-Town. I've been in the boat and seen the speeds it ran when racing other boats in the area. It had SSM IV's on boxes, not Arnesons. A few years later, he was found cut up in pieces floating in a wooden box in the everglades.
The boat was eventually sold by his familly to another guy here in Chicago and renamed "Smugglers Blues" Hav'nt seen or heard anything about that boat in many years now. But, the Arneson-Ferrara boats are quite interesting. Would like to see and hear a little more about them. I was just with Reggie this past weekend. Had I read this last week, I would've asked him about it. :( Frank |
