You worked for Nielson motor sports. Reading EBM I noticed a Nielson in a picture. He is older guy with 33 Elimnator cat and 900's, wears black hat. Is that the owner of the ATV dealers in N IL?

I've seen him up here several times thru the years. We ran together on Windy City run and both came into Milwaukee at same time. Obviously he wasn't running real hard for the 50 mile run.

the guy your talkin about is FRED NIELSEN. he is the brother of TED NIELSEN who owns NIELSEN ENTERPRISES. Fred ownes NIELSEN DEVELOPMENT a construction comparny, and Nielsen race team. these guys have pretty much unlimited funds to do whatever...ive seen freds boat---he brings it on the chain all the time. he has a whole entourage that launchs and drives the boat for him its unbelivable. he also ownes a share of blarneys island, so you are most likely to see him there with his whole crew.

p.s. that boat is crazy and i heard once that is does well over 100mph ( not sure exact)

I'm sure 33 E cat with 900's will do 130-140.
Pair a dice x -42 Fountain did 117 with 900 merc sc's. with full cabin.

ill tell you his boat really draws a crowd....you dont usually see a boat like that flying down the fox river :eek:
there was a couple times he almost ran me over

yeah he launches in Milw every year and your right on the entourage with him. He hangs out on the river, dressed like Johnny Cash. Funny to watch him. Does his brother have an offshore boat the guy you worked for?

not that i know of....i think is son has a 25-27 baja outlaw. its been a long time since i worked there...their more into the bikes and jet skies...they really get into jet ski racing.

his cat runs 146 mph.....there is a photo of the boat on test day from eliminator and it shows radarof 146.? mph. If you are every at the port of blarney the picture is on the wall by the stage.

I do most of my boating on the chain..I have a place at Inland Harbor off of fox lake. I am up there from thur thru sun almost every week. My neighbor is one of the owners of Blarney so I am always parked on the north side of the island rafted off of the owners boats. I have a 2000 32 fountain..

I live in Naperville...I just spend summers in Antioch
