Fountain speedo - hole size

what the standard hole size fountain uses for the speedo? thinking on going with a GPS unit - this one looks like a good deal, not sure if it fits in the standard hole.

Just measured mine. It is 3 3/4". Speedo is the Gaffrig liquid filled that Fountain used as a standard.

By comparison, the tach holes are 3 3/8"

Thanks, US-1 guess the one on ebay one won't work for me.

Re: Fountain speedo - hole size

Isn't there a bezel that adapts the smaller GPS units to fit in the larger holes? Seems to me I have heard that. I imagine it is the same as the speedo bezel, but has a lstep that will fit in the dash hole to center it, then have a smaller hole for the new gauge.

If nothing else, the bezel for the 3 3/8" gauges will still work on the larger holes because it will cover the hole. You will need to either wrap the new gauge in tape to take up the slack or make a sleeve. Either way, it will look just like the tachs when done.
