Mine lasted about 2 weeks. I haven't had a swim ladder
on any of my boats since 1989. I left the bay with my
post ladder still attached. It now is in the Icy depths
of Lake George :(

I find it easier to climp up the drives on my boat. 1 less thing to store or remember to fold it up.

I put my drives ALL the way down...... then I have a special rope I made up (dont have a pic of the rope) that strings between the eyelets on either side of the Pull My Trigger.......grab the rope.....step on the middle of the tiebar.......pull yourself up......bada bing your in, no sweat.....very easily
For those of you without the eyelets you could probably rig a rope around the grabrail somehow....try it, it works

http://aquaperformance.com/ link to the co [email protected] she is the saleperson. It is easy to install just hold it up there mark the holes drill them put 5200 in the holes they have these tvk bolts (similar to a toggle bolt) and a special tool to spread them out. I had a 300lb woman swim over and climb up and it stayed on. You can get them in stainless or powercoated and they swing down about 2 feet into the water

Thanks for the info. The wife and Iare looking to go bigger and I did not like the fact that the 35 Exc did not have a swim ladder now after seeing/hearing that this step will fit a Fountian that opens the shopping market. :D

Will the Aqua fit a 1997 Fountain 35 Lightening with twim Bravo One Drives, Tie Bar, Latham Hydralic Steering, K-Planes and dual exhaust? Would it mount to the side or center?

Many thanks,
