Newbie Fountain Owner Question....

Greeting everyone,, Just bought my first Fountain (35' Lightning) and of course, just had to join here to. This seems to be the place to get great tips from the seasoned veterans.

OK,, now for the newbie question...

I'm trying to find a swim ladder for the swim platform that will not interfere with the tie-bar between the two drives... Someone has suggested the Aqua Performance one, but I'm concerned that it won't mount up underneath with the outer edge lip as well as the tie-bar conflicts.

Any Input?

congrads on the new fountain. We just climb up the brives , but have thought about building a rope ladder with pvc steps and those bumper hooks that will grab the rail. the fountain sets low anyway. pray for summer.

One of those came with my last boat. Seemed like once I put my foot in it, it would go under the boat. Possibly it was to short. I find it easiest and quickest to climb up the drives. No ladders to store, forget to put up, rattle.....

but one slip and then the sharks will be there

It's nice to have a ladder, never had one before.

Hey Mardonzi,

Congrats on the new 35' Lightning. I just bought one myself 2 months ago (my first twin). It came with a pretty cool ladder set up. It drops in to the mount when needed but stows away when not. Take a close look at the left side of the photo. I don't know the brand name but will take a look at it when I get to the warehouse next week.

The ladder on the right side goes down further. That's the one I'd use. ;)
