Man, I like that boat!
May I ask what mods were done to 575's and how much power do you believe they are now making? Thanks! Chris |
Re: Hot Boat on Long Island 38 106mph
Standard Super Chiller stuff as I understand. Motor updates and dyno was handled by Fountain, but I doubt at Fountain. Super Chiller and different pulleys (I think). Then installed and rigged by Fountain. Claim is 698 and 695 hp - so 700 a side. The X axis was modified by Reggie who tested the boat and demo'd it himself - it ran 103. After purchase, the owner changed the Sportmasters to Imco Shorties and 5 blade hydro's (34 pitch) in 1.35 drives. He then got 106.7. I am hoping for 108 or so on salt and plan to touch nothing.... until it breaks. Bo at Monsta will get it ready for salt water - ( strainer and fresh water flush hook up etc. ), drive showers and pre lubers... Check the rigging, fittings etc. modify as he see's fit. Argue with me about where the GPS should be connected, add intercoms.... etc....
