Yep, different windshields and different bottoms.

Re: 35 Classic vs. Executioner

" Executioner " is the name placed on the former Lightning hull design which was brought back into production after the introduction of the new twin step hull design. After the twin step intro Fountain found there was still a demand for the former design , some still preferred the traditional Fountain look. It was brought back first as the " 35 Classic " , then changed to the " Executioner " , the name used by Reggie on his first boat back in 1979 when he started Fountain Powerboats. The " Executioner " , as we know it today , was reborn as a package deal. Available only with 496 Mag HO's , one graphic option with either red or blue accents , and limited options at a special price. Due to demand Fountain now allows you to chose your power , graphics and options any way you want. They also now offer a " 42 Executioner " as well. The 42 is a little different deal , they use the newer twin step hull combined with the top deck from the former design. Again the demand / preference for the more traditional Fountain styling. As you read thru posts on this and other sites you often find comments regarding Fountains being stuck on their old designs , their newer offerings are changed to meet todays trends , but the proof of the original styling is the continued demand for that traditional look. Check any dealer's site , you will see most all stock the " Executioner " The " Look " sells.
