That is my old 35' that's for sale. I replaced it with a 2001 -42' with staggered 575s. That boat runs flat out. Any body looking for a 35' that will run 80 + all day long with no problems will like it. Motors were built with the best parts by a great mechanic. I sometimes wished I had it back.

Is there something that you don't like about the 42?

Super nice looking Fountain. I love the race fairing on that boat and even thought it is 10 years old the graphics do not look dated...very classy colors. Awesome price too.

I love my 42'. I would'nt go back. Hopefully after the Teague kits (chillers, etc.) it will be 90mph + (only need about 4 to 5 mph to get there). It's nice to have a full windshield, air/heat/flushing toilet, etc. and still be faster than my old 35'. It's just the old 35' was easier to handle, clean, etc. but no way near the ride and drive of a newer 42'.

Very nice looking 35. I really can't figure out why mine hasn't sold yet. Guess the market is just too flooded. I have a gentleman that wants to do a partnership on the boat where he basically takes over the payments, butg it stays in my name. He will pay it off in full in a year, but I'm a little leery. Has anyone heard of doing this?

In one year's time, out of your sight and your control, what is now a nice boat could be a worhthless POS. And if isn't his name on the loan, what does he care?

Don't walk away from that deal, RUN! You need to find a buyer - not a no risk taking dreamer.

I agree fully with Marginmn!!!!!! If this guy says he can pay it off in a year, and really has the ability to do so, he sure as he!! should have the ability to go to the bank and borrow the money to buy the boat. This is a real BS deal and you are foolish if you buy into it. If your boat is nice, be patient, someone will come along and appreciate it. It's still early in the season, be patient!!!

Where I'm from (even for documented boats), insurance is in the name of the title holder. I would'nt want to sell one on contract, or rent it which is basically what you would be doing, with all the liability on my shoulder's. Too much too risk. Just a thought.

Jeff, Been doin all right how about you. Only been to the lake twice so far getting the place opened up. It's been a long 3 months. Fountain has had my 42' doing some upgrades to it and Kelly's starting to put the 575s back together. I went ahead and purchased the Arizona upgrade kits with chillers. It looks like you got a new boat. Looking forward to seeing it. I was at Key West in Nov. and there were several NorTechs down there. Very Nice boats.
