Claudio's Run May 21st
 

Was just down at the Superboat site talikng to the locals. They are planning a Fun Run to Claudio's on May 21st. Nice group of people who welcome all. There is a Long Island Sound group meeting up with the South Shore boys. Very similar to the Mid Summers Peconic boat blast two years back... Meeting time is at Claudio's 11:30... Tie up, pictures, stories, lunch, stories pictures and then either an around Shelter Island run or a Montauk run. Another tie up, picture and stories...

Maybe Vinny at Mariners Cove will represent as well. Just a few weeks after Reggie is showing up at the Cove (April 30th?) Vinny, you out there?

Anyway, wanted to open the door to my Fountain brothers who might be interested....

I am working on being there. I have a family member out of town that is due to have a baby on the 20th so I may be out of town. I guess we will see what happens ... You should all stop by on Apr. 30th at our open house at 790 North Highway, Southampton, NY. Reggie will be there.

I am not sure what ride ... Although I was considering a Yamaha Waverunner that does 85 MPH on GPS ... Would be an interesting ride ...

Yea, I'm wrong. Must be to many drinks... Went back down there and came up with a half dozen from the South Shore of LI and a few from the CT or LI Sound area.... Probably end up being between 10 - 12 with counting only 2 Fountains ( me and Gferdon). But remember, there are Superboats and an OL as well.

Just stopping by to say HI... :cool:
I was working on my best boating buddy "Mad River" last night.
He has a 97 29' Fountain 525sc Bravo.
Anyway he's hoping to be ready as he waiting for his carb to come back from Nickerson's... :rolleyes:
I'll be there for the CT side in my little 24' Super.

Groan.... G-d keeps us humble... So infuriating. Third time out with the boat. Started to roll side to side above 90. Been in the boat 4 times up to that point and it has been dead solid, straight as an arrow... Almost boaring at speed. So I had to try it three time, then brought it in. Cleaned it up and saw the prop. Ordered another set to be lab to the same spec, just not as thin. Also going to have this welded, straightened and sent back. Throttle up.... What esle was I going to do with 3 - 4 grand...... Geeezzee...... :(
