Well for a month I have been a hermit in my garage and here are the results of my time. My month long project is DONE!!!!! Here are some before and after pics, let me know what you think. I put in all new speakers while I had it all apart as well as two new amps.

Re: My project is finally done
Nice Job! Looks like a big improvment from the teal. I have to get busy and start cleaning up my 29. Can't wait to get all my house projects out of the way.

Re: My project is finally done
Very Nice! I like the colors. Is that a Whipple peaking thru?
|
Re: My project is finally done
What yr is it? The rear vents make it a late 90's, but I thought they went to electric bolsters mid 90's?
|
Re: My project is finally done
Thanks it was a lot of work, but I sure do like the way it turned out. The boat is a 1998 and the bolsters are hydroaulic. The Whipple is a small side mount, I think they call it a 2.3 or something.

Re: My project is finally done
Looks great DeltaRat!!! I have the same teal in my boat and its the only thing I dislike. I have heard people using dye, but am alittle sceptical.

Re: My project is finally done
That looks great. The color choice was perfect. Who did the upholstery work?

Great Job,
That really does look great.I am in the middle of rebuilding my entire 32 Fever, mechanically.I would like to do the interior over next winter. Its not in bad shape, but I would like to have it look like yours.Check out my project under Q/A titled Winter Project. If you don't mind me asking, can you PM me with an about price of what I should pay for a complete interior so I have an idea. Good Luck Nordic95 |
Re: My project is finally done
Top knotch job! 12 days is super quick for all that work, when i did mine i had to wonder if they have orangtans working there to reach the bolts lol , looks great have a great season boating. :D

Re: My project is finally done
Ya the guy did a great job, like I said he totally surpassed my expatiations. Another thing that I was surprised about was how well all of the interior was but held in the boat. I had a bowl of stainless nuts fender washers and lock washers that had to have weighed at least 8 or 9 pounds when I finished taking it all out. Some of them were very challenging to reach through the little storage cut outs. My only suggestion to anyone doing this would be to remove the front seats from the boat first before doing anything else; this will help you tremendously in accessing the rest of the bolts and removing the rest of the interior.

Re: My project is finally done
That is by far, one of the best lookin interiors I've seen. :evilb:
The colors are perfect, and the rear seat is perfect. Great job. I'm sure everybody here just like myself is wondering...........what kind of $$$$ did ya have to drop to get this job done? Thanks............Frank |

Tremendous update, brings the boat into the present. Colors will be in style longer than the teal.... be proud of what you did.
